Great staff and friendly staff . Breakfast was across at their sister hotel and was good with excellent morning views. The staff at hotel recommended the Turkish dinner cruise and this was amazing value and worth the money and you get also picked up/dropped off from hotel. Only 1 thing was the WIFI slow, and as a UK guest this is very important as most of us rely on this. Again this was personal preference but overall I would stay again and loved the hospitality

Hello user, I stayed in this hotel in November 2021, I booked for 5 nights and I was excited after seeing the pictures of the hotel. However, when I arrived at the hotel which took a long time to find. When I arrived at the hotel, I received a warm hospitality from the hotel. I was shown to my room which was on the 4th floor and the lift only goes up to the 3rd floor and the room was nothing like what I saw on their website and other booking site. The room was very old fashioned and worn out. The room decor was dated and ties. Some of the fixtures were not working, such as the shower door not closing the door roller isn’t aligned and the bedside lights not working. The room curtains looked and didn’t feel clean and looked very outdated. The room balcony was still under construction and looked hazardous. After 2 nights, I had to check out. I was paying for 4 star room, however, I got 2 star room. Breakfast were served from a different hotel building across from the hotel. Very inconvenient. I didn’t feel comfortable in the room and had difficulty sleeping at night. although the staff were nice and welcoming., however, as a solo traveler comfortability is very information and having a good night sleep is key to great holiday. The location is very central and there are lots of restaurants and you can walk easily to local attractions.

Overall we had a great stay at Hippodrome Hotel. The bed was comfortable, staff were friendly and helpful, location was excellent with only a few minute walk to the Hagia Sofia. Definitely recommend securing the room with a view. It provides a beautiful sunrise view over the water and you can also see the blue mosque from the adjoining balcony. The rooms were cleaned everyday with new towels and beds made. Only minus for us was the shower leaked on the floor after each use. Would stay again/ 10

Great location, Matt helped get us a different room when we checked in. The main hotel has a great terrace on the 4th floor. Breakfast is at the Azade hotel down the street on their terrace with is just lovely. All the staff at the Azade were wonderful too.
